ECO electrocorundum
A sustainable choice for industry - an economical recycled abrasive for processes where high Al₂O₃ levels are not a primary selection criterion.
Who was ECO electrocorundum (corundum) created for?
Electrocorundum (corundum) ECO is an ideal solution for production plants that need an effective mineral abrasive, but do not require the highest aluminum oxide content. This product will prove useful wherever: controlled quality, compliance with FEPA standards, predictability of parameters and attractive price are crucial. It is dedicated to the metal, foundry, refractory and tool industries, where sharp, effective abrasive action is expected - without the need to use premium materials.

What distinguishes ECO electrocorundum from other standard solutions?
It is made of abrasive materials obtained from grinding discs with a high ceramic content. Despite being recycled, it is characterized by a sharp-edged structure and high hardness (9 on the Mohs scale), which ensures good efficiency. No free silica (SiO₂) – safe for the operator and compliant with occupational health and safety regulations. Produced and classified in accordance with the FEPA F standard – which means that the customer receives material of repeatable quality and fraction. Metric spreading is also possible. Its greatest advantage is the compromise between price and quality – it allows you to replace more expensive abrasives where high chemical parameters are not required.
Production method and structure are the key to success
ECO electrocorundum is made from precisely selected production residues (mainly brown and white electrocorundum). The raw material is crushed, separated from impurities and screened in accordance with the FEPA standard. This produces full, irregular and sharp-edged grains that maintain stable physical properties and are ready for use in abrasive blasting processes.
In which industry will ECO corundum work?
Metal and steel industry
For cleaning stainless steel, aluminum, castings and preparing surfaces before painting, galvanizing and gluing – especially where cost optimization is a priority.
Tool and refractory industry
For the preparation and processing of technical materials, ceramic inserts and components requiring abrasion resistance.
One-piece and short-series production
In applications where the highest purity abrasives are not required, but effectiveness and repeatability of operation are still important.
Faster, cheaper, more effective We implement effective processes surface treatment
Is your company from a different industry? It doesn’t matter!
Electrocorundum ECO is a universal abrasive that is also successfully used in less typical applications: cleaning concrete and ceramic surfaces, renovation of engineering facilities, and even in matting of technical glass. Thanks to its attractive price, high availability and maintaining high quality standards, it is increasingly chosen by production managers who are looking for a reasonable alternative with a limited budget.

How do we implement ECO electrocorundum into client companies?
Process analysis – We do not start projects without a thorough understanding of the current process. Therefore, in the initial phase of the project, we precisely analyze the client's current challenges and problems to check the room for potential optimization. If we jointly recognize that the current state can be improved in terms of quality and economics, we continue the project.
Measurements and tests – We come to the client to audit the process. We verify machine settings, take samples, talk to operators who are closest to the process, check the level of surface blasting and analyze the results.
Tests and training – In order to reduce the risk of changes introduced in the customer's conditions, we carry out tests on selected material in the test center in Łódź. We evaluate the results, consider possible corrections, and then prepare an action plan for the following months. We train employees in the areas to which they need to pay more attention and introduce the necessary procedures that will allow the team to maintain the established process parameters in the long term.
Process supervision – We continue project cooperation. We provide regular support aimed at cyclical monitoring of the process after changes in the client's process. This allows customers to even better understand the key quality and financial aspects related to processing.
