Tumbler Shot Blasting Machines for the Demanding

We are constantly working to improve the shot blasting process for all components, even the smallest ones. Our collaboration with the Czech company Kovo Staněk, s.r.o. – one of the most innovative shot blasting machine manufacturers – has resulted in the introduction of the TZB rotary drum shot blasting machine to our offering.

Due to its efficient and precise operation, the drum shot blasting machine has found applications in many sectors of the metal industry, such as furniture and fastener production. The drum shot blasting machine is primarily used for processing small components in large quantities.

Operating Principle of a Drum Shot Blasting Machine

In TZB drum blasting machines, workpieces are moved inside the chamber by a rubber belt. This exposes them to a stream of shot falling from above, which precisely and evenly cleans their entire surface. TZB trough blasting machines allow the operator to fully control all process parameters, including belt speed and turbine power, which translates into high versatility – they can clean heavily corroded parts as well as those requiring a gentle sweep.

Drum Shot Blasting Machine – Construction

The design of the TZB trough shot blasting machine is quite simple, and its unique features lie primarily in its clever, patented solutions and precision workmanship. The blast chamber, rubber belt, blast wheels, and other components in contact with the shot are made of abrasion-resistant materials.
The blast wheels are mounted on a double-bearing shaft, significantly increasing the service life of the entire system and reducing maintenance costs. The turbines are standardly equipped with inverters, allowing for smooth power regulation.

TZB drum shot blasting machines have a built-in automatic abrasive separation system and can be upgraded with an automatic loading and unloading system upon request.

Will a TZB shot blaster work in your conditions?

We understand that choosing a shot blaster must be a conscious decision on the customer’s part. The machine must meet specific production goals within a given timeframe and comply with all health and safety regulations. For this reason, we always recommend visiting our test center in Łódź, along with the parts that will ultimately be shot blasted in the machine, so you can assess the machine itself and the surface quality after processing.

Therefore, if you are currently looking for a drum machine, a test with us might be a good next step. Contact our technical advisor and plan the test schedule and date together.
